HINDUISM FOR HINDU YOUTH ON TV EVERYDAY
Hindu parents often complain that their youngsters struggle with Hinduism. Help is at hand during the summer break.
Hindu Faith Channel: Aastha International broadcast on SKY 807 in UK
(and on Direct TV in USA and Rogers Cable in Canada) are launching a new series of programmes specially aimed at Hindu youth in the West.
These broadcasts present Hinduism in a structured and rational format and consists of talks by our director of education Sri Jay Lakhani.
These talks are being broadcast a daily basis on Aastha International on SKY 807 at following times (BST or EST).
- Every morning from 7 to 7.30am. The talks are mostly question and answer sessions with Hindu Youth
- Every afternoon from 4 to 4.30pm.The afternoon talks cover structured study of Hinduism (record these as resource)
- Every evening from 10 to 10.30pm.The evening talks are philosophically oriented for young adults keen to develop a deeper grasp of Hinduism.
This new series of talks starting from Tuesday next week will cover:
- Series of pointed questions from Tamil Youngsters in Reading;
- Catholic Postgraduates in Birmingham studying Hinduism and
- Hindu students at King’s college London trying to link Hinduism to Science.
