Hinduism for the Beefeaters
|
Recently the Establishment at the Tower of London arranged an introductory session on Hinduism for their staff members (including the famous beefeaters) who wanted to learn about different world religions. The Hindu presentation focused on two aspects of Hinduism that are relevant for the modern world.

(Yeoman Warders at the Tower of London) |
- Spiritual Humanism: That emphasises seeing and serving God in men and women &
- Inclusivism: Many ways of becoming spiritual. Including theism (relating to God); Non-theism (relating to one's essential nature as the Spirit) and even non-religious methods that allow one to become spiritual by being one-pointed through any endeavours like: arts, music, dance, drama, literature, poetry and science.
The session was well received with a promise by the establishment that such sessions will be repeated for other staff members on a rota basis.
